    Good to see the rebel back. CW is stacked. Tapia isn't great but isn't a complete bum either so if Perez dominates him thoroughly he's probably ready for another top opponent.

    Almost always the case for slashers. Originals are the best and the sequels are at best dumb fun and at worst mindless cash grabs.

    TOV is a French film and an acquired taste, but I'm a fanatical fanboy of the director Jean Rollin.
    And yeah I knew that about G&TD, but never looked into it.

    The series of Godzilla films made from the late 80's and early 90's were brilliant, and every bit as good as the films from the 60's and 70's.
    Yes, the Snoop film was Bones, and it wasn't bad, but not quite as good as Eddie's, which had the distinction of being directed by Craven.

    You sicken me.:lol: Are you sure we're talking about the same film? this is not Dylan Dog, which was dreck, this is the one with Rupert Everett.
    My cousin did that M-O-O-N **** for months.:lol:
    It wasn't King, it was HP Lovecraft that Carpenter was paying homage to.
    No, Phantasm 2 and 3 were both solid, I prefer the second Phantasm to the first actually, the rest, not so good.

    That's great, I loved for a shop like that to open around me. Its a brutally underrated film, as is The Dark Half, that eyeball in the brain thing was ****ing jarring.:lol:
    Cronos I always found to be somewhat overrated.
    Maniac Cop 2 will be prominent on the list of the year it was released, its a masterpiece along with the first one. Pat 3 is by far teh weakest, but still has its moments, and IIRC yeah, he's on fire in a prison.


    Army Of Darkness and Evil Dead 2 I find to be overrated, aside from the first, I don't really care for the franchise, and I really like Bruce Campbell, maybe its just that I don't like Raimi films all that much. Didn't give a crap about Drag Me To Hell or Darkman either. Regardless, AOD wasn't in the vicinity of Dracula or Candyman that year. Its a hipster pick.

    Another film that everyone loves, that I just don't get, I did a list like that a year or two ago on here, films that everyone loves, that I hate.:lol: And I'm not just being a contrarian, I find Silence of the Lambs to be dreadfully overrated and unpleasant, and not in a good way. I'd take People Under The Stairs and Subspecies any day of the week over it, quite frankly I should probably move Warlock past it as well.:lol:
