I really have no idea how Pulev will look. Saw him last winter in one of the ski resorts in Bulgaria and he was still looking in a great shape for his age. I will go with Pulev by a MD just because it is staged in Sofia. If this was in England, I wouldn't even doubt it that it was going to be his last notable fight - losing to Fury.

Happy belated b-day to @pincai. I had to upload the perfect clip to accurately capture my feelings about your big day.

Problem with Pulev is his movement is non existent and he'll just wave that left hand around in circles while staying completely planted and try and jab his guys head off...but Fury won't be there stuck in mud waiting to be jabbed and should be able to just box on the back foot, in and out and move away from any danger. I can't see how Pulev wins tbh unless he just goes for it, which is something I cannot see him doing

You don't have to go for anything when you're fighting at home. That's why fighting at home is such a huge advantage, it shapes the perception (and scoring) of the fight.

Top 10 Horror Films Of 1982
    1. Poltergeist -saw the end of this again yesterday, damn does it hold up

Top 10 Horror Films Of 1981
    10. An American Werewolf In London -love this one

Top 10 Horror Films Of 1980
    1. The Shining - classic
    9. The Changeling - you like this because of the ghost stuff?

HM: Altered States - I didn't think of this as horror, but it was decent sci-fi

Alien is too Sci-Fi - Aliens is too sci-fi thriller. Alien is a textbook on how to do horror specifically monster/slasher genres.

Top 10 Horror Films Of 1978
    1. Halloween - never worked for me, and Jamie Lee Curtis is a dog.
    2. Dawn Of The Dead - fantastic
    3. Martin - looks great

Invasion Of The Body Snatchers is pure Sci-Fi - alien horror is still horror. You aren't throwing out vampires because they are too fantasy.

After Poltergeist ended, The Hills Have Eyes started. Didn't like it but I can finally scratch that off my list of horror movies to see. Nobody in that movie deserved to live but the dog. That dog was a ****ing assassin and way smarter than it's owners. AMC is running all the horror classics back to back. I might even catch Trick r Treat or Silver Bullet later.

Oh, is Day of the Beast on your '95 list? I love that one.

I can't watch that much boxing. I'm a fan, but some of you are obsessed.

You don't need to prove it to both of them. Russell is ranked 44th. Don't know why he's cracking on you being 27th. Lufcrazy was ranked 16 or something, so he has a little more room to talk. For my part, I just meant to tease you a bit as a friend. I didn't realize they'd pile on and hurt your feelings. Sorry, bout that.

Anyway, you just do you and play however makes you happiest. For my part, I'm competing with myself and want to finish the year above 70%, but I probably won't rise above my current 40th place in the league.

None of the undercard is listed for the Fantasy Springs show on Thursday. I suspect the GB matchmaker, Roberto Diaz, has requested Boxrec not publicly display the undercard, as has been the case with several GB shows this year.

    @PinoyProdigy Can you confirm?

Not everyone can be a cinephile. I imagine other people fill their lives with *****, cars, drugs, etc.

I know, but the more I go through life, it seems that everyone has major holes in their cultural knowledge. For the longest time, I assumed that everyone was generally on the same page, but then I'd run into people who'd never heard of Adam and Eve, or never heard of Goodfellas, or Malcolm X.

That is indeed the case. Gonzalez-Perez II is on BoxRec in my editor view. Public view only shows the main event. I had no idea since I’m on the editor view by default. Sorry about that guys but the fight is still on.

Avoid the Poltergeist remake like the plague, you'll get violently angry at it.

The Changeling with George C. Scott is one of the scariest films I've ever seen and is pure horror. Not talking about the Jolie flick.

Alien is a little too much of a chamber piece for me, although its horror, I might add it in. Same with IOTBS, I hate trying to classify hybrids, but... since I added Beetlejuice and Ghostbusters, in retrospect, they deserve to be added, but I still have Zombie above Alien.

I've love Jamie Lee since I was a little kid, even with the short hair, I've always thought she was incredibly sexy.

Which Hills Have Eyes was it? The Wes Craven directed original from 77 is far better than the 06 remake.

I've been meaning to see Day Of The Beast for years, but keep putting it off for some reason, the DVD isn't subtitled IIRC, but if I look around hard enough, I could find one that is.
