Kirks Championships : Boxing Prediction League : 2018

Damn, this ****'s from April, Kirk.

I read some essays and a book of short stories Bertrand Russell wrote back in high school. Wouldn't really recommend anything though. He was somewhat important to early twentieth century philosophy and mathematics, but I never read any of that. I think I read his essay Why I Am Not a Chistian. Atheists really seem to like that one and want to put him on their Mt Rushmore with Dawkins. But even during my atheist phase I wasn't that into Russell or Sagan. I'm more of an arts guy than a sciences guy. I think I read a book Russell wrote on the history of philosophy too. It was short but not memorable.

I remember reading Richard Feynman's Six Easy Pieces, and Stephen Hawking's Brief History of Time as well at that period. Sadly, I can't recommend any of them. There have got to be better non-fiction books for people who want to read about science.
