For now just to determine the year-end champion.

The plan is to go back to Elo fixtures for next year again, with the odd tournament here and there. Also note that we can't do a tournament without the correct number of players (8,16, etc.). So we are making the most of it for now.

In my view, the tournament is great motivation for lower Elo players since everyone starts on an equal footing. But if overused it will get a bit dull I think.

What do you think? Feedback is most welcome.

 

I think a quarterly tournament just to shake it up a bit sounds good!
