I’m not getting too excited, just wondering why yer seem very mad? Too early in the league to get worried

 

Phew 1-1 now parity is restored

 

I told myself after a real bad October(going against my gut several times when it was still relatively close) that I was going to gut it out and quit at the end of the year.... Well here I am now, this is league is like a bad girlfriend that you can't seem to leave.

 

It's a marathon not a sprint,

Mock vs Chudinov was a 50/50 any way, who cares

@CST80 we are only first week into the new year lol, there are 51 week more to go, plenty of time to catch up.
Anyway, I'm glad to have first win in the column. I'm pump like lomachenko after fight number 2

 

Just watched Logan. What a film.

I'm not sure who here watches the x-men films, but those who more than just watch it, those who get embroiled in the universe will know there's a **** tonne of continuity errors.

To simplify it you need to consider it as 3 different series of films.

Series 1: x-men, x2, last stand, the wolverine. This all follows on from each other and even though there's a tie in with dofp you should consider that a different universe, one that has the same characters but a totally different story arc.

Series 2: x-men origins wolverine. An awful film that doesn't fit in with any of the other stories and was so bad it killed off the origins franchise.

Series 3: first class, dofp, apocalypse, deadpool, logan. This for me is the better series. People hated on first class because a lot of stuff doesn't tie in with the original trilogy, which is fine, class it as a reboot. But the series here is much better all round and the crowning achievement of it is logan.

This is the ultimate post apocalyptic movie, humanity hasn't destroyed itself, we know that from the new trilogy, but xavier has got old, real old, he has a seizure and kills all of the x-men apart from wolverine. No new mutants have been born in 25 years due to a virus, wolverine is old now and doesn't heal like he used to, the x-men team is not on its last legs, it's on its last dregs and the only survivors are too old to start a fresh. A corporation was responsible for the virus, began cloning new mutants and one escapes a mini wolverine. He, just like Mosley against Margarito, has one last great fight in him due to some PEDS he uses. He defeats those coming after his daughter and mortally wounds himself in the process, wolverine, xavier and every other notable mutant is now dead and the series comes to a natural end. Great movie in terms of story and action. It combined the working class rocky story with the traditional super hero type stuff. It did it brilliantly. Everything about this film is gold.

Don't get me wrong the gravel chose itself is continuing, but deadpool 2 and dark phoenix will both be set before this film so it will all be fine. New mutants could be a sequel to Logan but I reckon it will just start a new story arc again.
