You felt the same way about Sadam Ali and look what happened with Abregu:twisted: (I did too) But I agree about Imam, but I'm not sure if Fidel is the man for the job, but I hope.
I do still think Sadam will get it eventually, though he was impressive versus LCA. As for Imam, it was Ugas that buzzed him, repeatedly. Imam just squeaked by him, and was in trouble frequently. Maldonado hits a whole bunch harder than Ugas, and will take a lot more offensive chances than him. (Ugas is lazy even by Cuban standards) That's his style, *****-out aggression. Of course, he may well get himself Abregu'ed going for it. :conf
Yeah Sadam is a KO waiting to happen and I forgot all about the Ugas fight, that's how uninspired I am by Imam, but now that you brought it up I vaguely remember it, but I'm sticking with Imam, but rooting for Fidel to not get Abregu'ed:yep
Imam came back strongly after being buzzed, though. Maldonado is also susceptible to being caught early, and Imam's got real power in that right hand. I like the Young Master in this match-up.
Stiverne KO Kinda meaningless prediction though, practically every attribute of Wilder is unknown at this point so its pretty much a 'blind pick'. If Wilder is half as good as the hype he will win a UD using his length.... but that's impossible to tell right now and at least Stiverne is a known commodity.
gah.... nevermind, change it to Wilder UD. I have my reasons.... Ill probably kick myself for changing my pick but oh well. Lets see what happens. I think if it goes the distance the judging will be kind to Wilder, and I question Stivernes ability to stop him.
