That would require another bracket, which would mean Id have to add another 8 people wouldnt it? Or am I missing something. Can you make a 6 man single elimination tournament without a bye round?

Im not sure if there would be 16 people interested in it at this point is the only thing, I dont wanna wait around on having to fill those last few spots, but Ill do it like this.

Ill make it a 4 round, 16 man tourney. But if we dont fill those spots by the first fight, it drops to an 8 man, 3 rounder.

    * The new king will be crowned when there is one person left after the dust settles in this single elimination tournament, those who are interested in participating let me know, its first come first serve, it will be a 16 man tourney.

The fights that will determine the king will be

Artur Beterbiev vs. Gabriel Campillo - 1st round
Adonis Stevenson vs. Sakio Bika - 2nd round

Andy Lee vs. Peter Quillin - 3rd round
Matthysse vs Provodnikov - FINAL ROUND : KING MAKER
    --------------------------------

    - Winner of the rounds will be whoever picks the selected fights the most accurate. So tournament picks must be indicated as follows

    Either,
winner by KO (what round) *Whoever picks the closer round to an actual stoppage will be who wins. If one person picks KO4 and the other KO5, and the fight goes the distance, the person who picked KO5 will win.

winner by UD *Must pick either by WIDE or CLOSE
12-0 to 9-3 is wide, 8-4 to 7-5 is close.
If one poster picks wide and the other close, and the official decision has two judges wide and one close.... the decision is wide. If the official decision is a SD/MD, the winner would be the poster that picked close.

    winner by SD

    winner by MD

    - If youre interested just let me know and I will enter you in. :good

    --------------------------------
    * In case of a tie (unlikely), the next fight in line for the next round will serve as the tiebreaker for them, winner advances. If there is a tie in the final round, kirk will choose the next fight that will act as the tiebreaker.
    * A missed tourney pick is a loss

I thought it was 1 vs 1 eliminator stages
8th guys then match-ups between the remaining 4th as semis, then the last 2 as the final.

can you show me how it would work, like this

    a vs b = a wins

    c vs d = d wins

    e vs f = e wins

    g vs h = g wins

If there were less than 8 more entrees, where would they fit in, in the system? Would they just get byes the first round? Which wouldnt work unless we said whoever is 1st in the rankings, and whoever was last years champion, both get first round byes. And I just dont like byes in tournaments.

And I loved the pick perfect round means instant KO thrilling concept, also the KD concept of being one round short of the perfect prediction. And I see you left it out.
Anyways do it your way. I'll just tag along.

ooohhh.... I see what youre thinking it was.

Were you kinda thinking that the 1 on 1 was a 3 round WBK style match? Thats where we were missing eachother on that idea.

    This is like this....

ALL of round 1 (a vs b, c vs d, e vs f, g vs h) will be determined by Artur Beterbiev vs. Gabriel Campillo.

ALL of round 2 will be determined by Adonis Stevenson vs. Sakio Bika.

    ect, ect.

Its a single fight, single elimination tourney.

I want the WBK to stay unique to being the platform where people face off over multiple fights. Not to mention I want this to be as short, simple, and sweet as possible.

A wbk style tournament with multiple rounds each having multiple fights would last way longer and be way more work then I want it to be. Im going to leave that format with the WBK.

Speaking of WBK, after this tourney is done I will bump the wbk legacies and Im thinking of challenging you on it :deal  :good

Nope, only that whatever you pick in the tourney will be your league pick so you will get a win and loss based off that.
