It was already a totally new event altogether with a completely different people's champion.

The only thing that count is the time the first challenge is issued not the order of the fights!!!!!!!!! If I challenged you on a figh that is next week, I still Challanged you first. Whovere comes after me is still second. Even if the fight is before the fight I challanged you on. You are already locked in a fight with me. SO therefore cannot be challanged.
First come first served works on the first who came and challenged you not on the one who challenges you with the earliest fight.
