Hey Pinoy I got a quick question how does the KO thing work because there's only been 4 so far this year, yet you've got a few people with 8 and 7 KO's.

KO = Correct guesses in terms of KO/or decisions.

If you pick the right manner of victory, say Sanchez UD Vlasov, then that counts as KO in the league.

Why are so many people picking Juarez to win here?

Seems like nostalgia pining to me...

Nah. Castellanos deserves respect and "better than his record" status but his performances run hot and cold.

Juarez in his comeback has boasted..well, as much single-geared consistency as in his prime.

Lower level, but enough to get this job done on hustle.

He's got the Salido thing going on.

I think some people are using the triangle theory here. Alvarado beat Castellanos... Juarez beat Alvarado.... Juarez therefore beats Castellanos.

If I'm remembering correctly not everyone even scored the Alvarado fight for Rocky, yeah?

If you score that one against him he's 2-8-1 in his last 11 fights... Going back to 2007.

Can't make that **** up. How did he fall off the planet like that?

    Just watched the fight.

Man Alvarado looked as bad as we all thought he would, probably worse actually.

Im happy for Rios though. I thought he looked good, even considering the opposition. It could have been a heavy bag in there tonight and he looked good. Looked fluid, focused.... ect.

How happy he was that he got the victory, made me happy to see. By all means it could have been Rios spinning out of control at this point as well, but he has his life seemingly together, dedicated himself again and at least has a nice, sweet victory to live off of for awhile. Good for him.

Now, whats next for these two.

Rios - Plenty of options if Bob decides to match with GBP as well.

    An Ortiz fight would sell
    Matthysse
    Ruslan
    Algieri

actually, without any haymon fighters maybe the options are more limited then I thought. Still, the ones listed are some entertaining matchups.

For Alvarado, its retirement time. But, he wont retire, and will likely continue this sad ending, as most boxers do. I actually don't think him vs Ortiz, Judah, or a Collazo, would be bad fights either and would let one those guys get back on track with a win.

    ---------------------
If you think you can beat the Peoples Champion, simply be the first to challenge him on any of his picks, and the match is set. To hold on to the title week in and week out is one of the harder achievements in the league.

As much as a ham that hes become during fights, I do like Lampleys interviews.... he shows the respect I think the fighters deserve.

Well, you did correctly pick Rios and Ramirez Sanchez as winners last night.
