sad to hear the fans booing Mike
this was not a case of eroding skills
but of Mike being a drug addict
and unable to do his job
my biggest wish is
he goes to rehab
and in 2016
gets another big fight in Denver
so he can fight in peak condition his heart out
for his people
he owns it to them

 

Pinoys on a heck of a run at the start of this season. I am thinking this might be dodgy ground.

 

Juarez vs Castellanos is about as close to a pick 'em fight as these things get.

Very good fight. Don't know if Rocky is a rejuvenated fighter at this point of his career, but he did look good last time out. Thing is, Rocky has shown his ability to be outboxed and not active enough in fights with these kind of implications on it. Castellanos has a better workrate and is going to need it to beat Rocky tonite.

My heart is with rocky, but i think castellano eeks out a decision in this one. Castellanos MD

I know a lot of folks seem to feel sorry for Mike Alvarado, and I do to an extent, but I don't feel that sorry for him. Who I feel sorry for are the fans that paid money to see Rios-Alvarado and they got a one sided massacre that Alvarado admitted that he didn't train and didn't care to be there.

Alvarado still got his pay day, the fans lost out and didn't get what they paid for. That's too bad. I feel bad for Alvarado in a sense that his life is clearly crumbling around him and I hope he gets his life together. But, as far as Rios beating on him I don't have one shred of sympathy for him. He didn't try and he didn't train. He got what he deserved. It wasn't sad in a sense where he was game, he tried, but he just couldn't do it. He just didn't care. So, I don't blame the fans for booing him at all.
