:nutcase This will at least force you to make a decently risky pick, Porter vs Broner. I think we will see you take that first loss :nod
You know, the only reason I didnt bet vcash on the Cotto Geale fighting going over in rounds is I got out too late from work, or else I would have lost at least 1k on it. Would have been my first betting loss in I dont know how long. I was pretty sure that Geale would take Cotto into the championship rounds, and when I feel confident on a fight it reeeaaallly bugs me when I get it wrong. How did I not see this coming? I mean for ****s sake a one legged Foreman took Cotto to the 9th.... a shot Mayorga with one foot in retirement took Cotto to the 12th (no shame in that Mayorgas a beast, but still) and TROUT didnt just take Cotto 12 he won the fight. A completely shot (imo), 40 year old crippled Martinez took Cotto to the 10th round, and Geale cant go half that? Man its these type of fights that **** me off in that I would lose money on them.... I missed something here, I obviously didnt have Geale gauged correctly.... Either Cotto is just THAT much better and more powerful under Roach, (better? yes... I can see hes almost back to vintage Cotto in there, he looked real good) but his power isnt going to increase by that much, or making 157 killed Geale... a combination of both, along with me just not having Geales durability very accuratly identified.
Why is that all my Wild Card picks are in the first round of Kirk's Challenge, Stevenson vs Bika, Mayweather vs Pacquiao and then Cotto vs Geale. Every time I go out on a frail limb its his first round.:-lol:
That just showcasing what a man Sergio truly is, what a brave warrior he is, he had one leg, he was concussed, and pretty much a sitting duck but nothing Cotto threw at him was severely hurting proving just how good his chin is as well, and he would have gone the last 3 rounds had Sarmiento not accurately pulled him, and he was fighting with him not to stop it. Sergio deserved a far better sendoff than that depressing farewell.:verysad
