Over time I saw how Bute started to fell in love with his power, like a hunter started to wait for his pray to fell into his traps. He started more and more to wait for that one KO perfect punch. It worked to many times before against poor oppoesition, so he thought it will always work. He relinquished his spurs, his combination, the things that made him hard to outbox, he even started planting his feet more to generate more power, felt comfortable setting traps and waiting for opponents to fell into them, and they did. Until Froch, he past blazing to all his traps, had such a strong chin that the few power shots he got before getting hurt and in survival mode didn't even budge Carl. Bute was faced with something he never seen before this was not boxing, staying at his distance carefully tactically setting traps, this was a brawl. The fight was fast, you had to think in the moment, any tactics you made before felt down, you had to create a new one on the spot, or play by instinct. Things that he never had to do before. He was overwhelmed, outclassed. Then he lost his confidence, and started to be waay to cautious. His trainer never had for him a plan B, Bute was suppose to stay at distance, box, set his opponents for his uppercut Ko punch, and if they passed this... then **** we're in trouble. I now see Bute talking a lot about inside game, rehearsing short sharp combination, learning to trow jabs more efficiently, using again his footwork at it highest. I'm feeling very positive about him. Hope we get to see quality again, It really lacked in his last fights. Waar Bute!!
