Kirks Championships: Boxing Predictions 2015

Observe this one and if you like it, we will probably do another one starting on 18th or 19th this month. I'll put you in the top of the list if you still want to participate.

 

This was actually suppose to be an 8 men elimination Tournament but not enough fighters signed in so we turned it into a Super Six like the SMW that started in 2009. So we needed you there, but could not wait until last minute.

 

Did you consider my suggestion about odds/favorites? or is it not doable?

I like it but is hard to do it. I can't use boxrec, because boxrec is more focused on fighters not fights, match-up. They only give stars from 1 to 5, And I actually need to know how big of a favorite is one boxer going into a fight or how big is the underdog if someone picks on him. So the reward can be 10-9 10-8 or 10-7 rounds. And lots of fights are not listed on the bookies. So I will find miself in a situation that I have to imagine what odds should be, and I'm not that good. Also it will put a lot of work on me, and lately I have little to no free time.

It's a very good idea, but for now it's not doable.

Juergen Braehmer(ranked 4) vs. Konni Konrad(ranked 133) -

This content is protected

Braehmer gets 10-9, heavy underdog Konrad gets 10-7 for a win
Floyd Mayweather(ranked 1) vs. Andre Berto(ranked 21) -

This content is protected

Mayweather gets 10-9, underdog Berto gets 10-8
Josh Warrington(ranked 21) vs. Joel Brunker(ranked 33) -

This content is protected

, both get 10-9

I think it's doable but you're the boss.

 

It's subjective, which posses the greater problem.

 

Sorry what do you mean subjective? It's based purely on division rankings. You think boxrec's ranking is subjective, that's it?

So what you do when you got Juergen Braehmer #3 fighting Artur Beterbiev #6. Do you make Braehmer favorite, or no clear favorite? When Beterbiev would be probably Favorite by quite a margin.
