For the record I was being honest in my scoring, I have no reason to bias it whatsoever everyone picked Vazquez to win anyway and I don't even like Vazquez, it was a sloppy fight with a lot of close rounds, but Vazquez landed the better shots, and I thought he outworked him in 8 of the rounds. Sure one or two of those could have gone Mendez' way, but me scoring them for Vazquez is far from egregious.
We'll just have to agree to disagree... My card was decided by the point deduction, otherwise i would have had it a draw.
I'm not surprised at all to Jackson getting chinned. Haven't seen it yet, but was thinking about it when I made the pick. Then I was all noooo.... but seems like it was a solid yes.
I had originally picked Uzcategui, shouldn't have changed it I guess atsch This was too much of a step up for Jackson. But still I wouldn't expect such a devastating knock out. Uzca is now DeGale's mandatory I believe should he get past Bute. It will be a decent fight.

Damn, a lot of people were wrong this thuesday... it really helped me with the WBK championship though.
I don't think there is a madatory at the moment, the number 1 and 2 spots are vacant, so they should book a final eliminator between 3 and 4, which at the moment is Ramirez & Medina. I can see Ramriez stepping aside as I believe he is with Arum, number 5 is Jackson, so Uzca will overtake him, so it will end up being Uzca v Medina in a final eliminator is my guess.
Not quite up to CST80 standard of petitioning for credit etc but in my head i had Uzecatgui to win and i went with jackson because everybody else did. I was just trying to protect my lead at the top of the table. A couple of times this year i have made wrong picks when i should believe my gut instinct but then sometimes i have been swayed away from wrong picks by following everybody else. You are so close in the WBK - Geebox will basically need a knock out. You will have to watch out for any SD/MD or Knockouts... 3 more standard UD's and you will be laughing all the way to the championship... Just watch out that Mikhalkin is heading into Kasperski's back yard...
Igor Mikhalkin UD, Kucher TKO FOR WBK Igor Mikhalkin Wide UD (default), Kucher TKO 8 I cant see how Mikhalkin can get a wide win away from home and with Kasperski never being ko'd it looks like points. Can't pick a SD as i might need the KO in the main league... Damn you Leoh for getting your pick in early...
I've seen the fight now, and damn Tony Weeks... Referees in boxing are so partial it isn't even funny anymore.
Too bad. Uzca vs Ramirez could be a very good fight as well. They've already fought Uzca and Medina and based on what I've seen I don't think Medina has a chance at all.
Exactly the same with me. I had Uzcategui to win but when I noticed everyone else had Jackson I was :huh so first I had my pick removed then I picked Jackson. Very stupid of me. Same had happened with Pedraza Cherry earlier where I had changed from Cherry to Pedraza which worked well although I believe Cherry won that one. That probably encouraged me with the Jackson pick. I won't change my picks like that from now on (I probably will, though)
I would like to withdraw from the WBK. Something came up, changed and I wont be participating in the kirk's challenge as well. It's been a great, fun ride and I hope you guys well. :thumbsup
