kirk let me ask you a question, I picked Guerrero by SD originally but I'm thinking about changing it to Thurman SD, in my heart I believe Guerrero will win by outworking him, but I don't think they'll give Guerrero the win even if he does. So I'm thinking about changing because of the judges but what if Guerrero wins like I really think he will and they actually give him credit for it would I get any credit if I changed to Thurman out of fear of a judge screwjob.
Unfortunately the answer is no, m'man. Official decisions and official picks have to match to get the win. It sucks but honestly its the only way to have a structured rule set. I usually try to pick with corruption in mind, most of the time I get it right, but sometimes I lose because I picked for a robbery and they scored it straight. In this fight I also gave the fact that judges will most likely lean towards Thurman in a close fight, but idk... at the same time, they might be having everything on the up and up since they will be under the magnifying glass given the big deal being made about it being on network television. anyways, ya man just try and judge the fight taking corruption into account. It can indeed suck in fights like this. But I have found the only way to run the league really without starting a lot of infighting is just to keep it pretty black and white, and what you pick needs to match the official decision.
I figured that would be the answer, oh well, I'm changing my pick to Thurman SD Officially my pick is: Thurman SD But I think Guerrero will win and not get credit for it and be robbed.
Molina TKO7 Broner (have a feeling it might end in the 4th but 7 is my official pick) Thurman KO9 Guerrero
