Oddly, Jerry O'Connell. And when he played Vern in Stand By Me, I looked like Vern growing up...!!!

I thought of that because I was listening to a replay of an old Howard Stern in Youtube and he said he thought he sounded like Alan Alda.

Much to the surprise of most of the people that get to know me or talk to me after seeing my pic first, I have a far deeper voice than you think just by looking at me.

I sound like Josh Silver from Type O, but the way I speak and act is similar to a younger far less drugged up Anselmo.

    So combine these two.:patsch

    Elvis Presley
    Waylon Jennings
    Tom Waits
    Lady Gaga
    Annie Lennox/Eurythmics
    Sting/Police
    The Cranberries
    The Cardigans
    Crosby Stills and Nash
    The Four Tops
    Depeche Mode
    Berlin
    Sarah McLachlan
    Pet Shop Boys
    Marty Robbins
    Van Morrison
    Conway Twitty
    Randy Travis
    David Bowie
    George Michael
    James Taylor
    Carole King
    Carly Simon
    Bon Jovi
    Billy Idol
    Cyndi Lauper
    Aimee Mann
    Linda Perry

You probably know most of these from the Lounge but maybe not all of them. I love metal, but I have a soft spot for 80's new wave/pop and 70's singer songwriters.

For the record being a fan of the new wave stuff came from some of my older relatives being a kid when I was a kid, same for the country,

I went through a rap phase when I was a teen, I loved Dre, 2Pac, Body Count/Ice-T and Ice Cube.

The Cranberries/McLachlan/Jewel/Lisa Loeb stuff came from girls I dated in high school and directly afterwards, I gravitated towards hippy chicks Lilith Fair types, which slowly evolved into punk rock and emo chicks in my late 20's. Their music taste rubbed off on me.

I forgot Fiona Apple big fan of her too.
