Ya Id be pretty dissapointed if I was sylvester, granted he fought a completely different version, but still..... can never be good to hear that the guy that just beat you lost to such a lower level guy. As for Macklin, I actually wouldnt mind seeing him in now with Pirog or GG, I think that would make for some good fights all the way around.
Good round up :good Lora is going to Poland for the fourth time this comming Saturday. Will be facing Krzysztof Cieslak for the second time. Loras record is Poland is: MD win over Cieslak, SD draw with Szot, cuts TKO4 win over Szot while behind on the cards. Lora isnt that bad. He also had a close draw here in Denmark against Martin Kristjansen (Which started this run) And gave Kevin Mitchell a good test.
Sylvester might be more bothered if he still harbored illusions of further campaigns, but he retired from competition to become a trainer a few weeks back. I think he realized he was just done, no matter what Proksa went on to do. Even if Proksa had gone on to dominate the MW division, SS made the right choice in calling it quits after taking such a licking. The fact that Proksa lost to Hope just affirms it. Once your heart is no longer in the fight, there's no point sticking around - especially when you're popular enough in your home country that you can pursue other avenues and stay close to the sport. I'm sure he'll have no problems finding work as a trainer (provided he doesn't wind up sucking at it - but even then, it will take a while before he could build up a bad reputation. He'll initially get clientele just based on who he is and what he accomplished for the domestic scene in Germany...)
3/23 - Roberto Garcia vs. Antwone Smith - Garcia UD 3/23 – Leonard Bundu vs. Antonio Moscatiello – Bundu TKO 3/24 – Takalani Ndlovu vs. Jeffrey Mathebula – Ndlovu UD 3/24 – Carlos Molina vs. James Kirkland – Kirkland TKO
I'm gonna go all heel and say I was beaten in an unsanctioned match and that I'm the real tournament champion if Jordan wins. Might even get an avatar trophy and big myself up like Ric Flair did to Hulk Hogan back in the early 90s WWF:yep
cruiser rankings - might not be great as this is the weight division I least follow: 1 Hernandez 2. Huck 3. Cunningham 4. Lebedev 5. Wlod 6. Afolobi 7. Tarver 8. Jones 9. Fragomeni 10. Masternak
Did you see Lora-Szot 1? I got a feeling it may have been a robbery. Yeah Lora is a decent journeyman, Gave Mitchell a decent fight, Exposed some prospects like Szot.
