****ing atrocious, and I say that as someone who talked loads of **** about Abril and picked Rios to win by KO with obnoxious cocksure certainty and spammed it all over the board.

Abril was screwed at least as bad as J.A. Santa Cruz against Casamayor, or anyone else in recent memory who somehow "lost" to the bigger name despite dominating them.

 

Esquivel also beats Ruiz by UD with scores of 116-111 2x and 116-112, which gives me another loss.

Abril beat Rios convincingly BUT I never ever wanna see him fight again....ugly, boring style!!!

 

****ing, absolute disgrace that bout was. I hate boxing when **** like that happens. You get boxers going through hard training camps, most of the time separated from their family for weeks. Then some ****er turns around and makes the decision, Yeah, **** him, Rios is the bigger name and more appealing style, we'll let him win.

Rios was completely shown up to be one dimensional, and even though people are saying Abril's style is boring, etc...I thought he boxed beautifully, showed Rios up to be overrated and limited.

 

Woot, I got to watch the Alvarado/Herrera war but then fell asleep for the Rios fight. Lucky me apparently!
