Marco Demecillo wins by TKO3 against Marvin Mabait in the rematch of their 4-round majority draw more than 3 years ago. Like in their first fight, Demecillo was knocked down in the first round. Demecillo was able to whether the storm and hear the ringing of the bell. The tide turned in the second with Mabait looking spent after trying hard to KO Demecillo in the first. Mabait was eventually knocked down in the 3rd with his trainer Carl Penalosa (brother of Gerry and Dodie Boy) eventually throwing in the towel during the count. Mabait gets his first pro loss in the rematch and Demecillo remains unbeaten and becomes the NEW Philippines Super Flyweight Champ.
