Oos won comfortably, kid has an impressive skillset. Bryant did land a few bombs though, but Oos looks to have a solid chin.

Leaky defense and questionable power aside, he looks like a genuine contender at smw. Exciting fighter, would like to see him against a top 10 guy now.

Yeah, that was a cool move on his part. Speaking of Rummy, what happened to the On the Ropes show? I read the part about Boxing Girl firing him or whatever and then someone wrote that Boxing Girl was banned or something like that? After that I couldn't be arsed. It's too bad, I liked reading the transcripts of the show.

If he took some bombs from Rowland Bryant without blinking. Then his chin is definitely legit. Bryant can really crack.

A lot went down in a short span of time...

Boxing Girl got shitcanned and replaced by me and Bart. (and has gone on to dig her succubus claws hooked into IFJ to get a foothold at that silly upstart site that's drawn a lot of solid dudes away from here, at least temporarily)

The main posting identities of the horror mod alts (Freddy Krueger, and Chucky posthumously) got outed.

Bart resigned within a fortnight and got replaced by McGrain.

If nothing else, he can indeed do that. :yep I'm not surprised Tommy Gun outclassed him, though, as Rowland only ever had a puncher's chance and even there it would have been a shock. Haven't had any complaints about his chin yet and he's been in with some serious opposition already.

There was some grumbling in the Lounge about "out of the frying pan, into the fire" and whatnot, as though BG had been replaced by another power mad psycho..mostly from that shitheel & IFJ chum nufc_jay (to whom I did hand an hour-long ban for simply being a ****) but honestly I don't care about that place very much and won't be interfering in matters down there. That's Manny's, Rummy's, and RDJ's zone as far as I'm concerned.

My prime directive is to clean up the General. (and Classic, with McGrain's help, although it obviously needs far less work)

All the redeeming qualities of OTR always stemmed from Rummy anyway, as far as I'm concerned. That hostess with the leastest was dead weight and made it nigh unlistenable.

 

Ah, nice, good stuff, good to hear that a show will be back. Not too many boxing podcasts out there...and most of the one's that are out there, aren't all that interesting. Hmm, and I wonder who this "friend" is.

Eh, unfortunately I'm not the only mod patrolling the General...

The one who militantly enforces the no stream requests rule (to the point of erring on the side of punishing the innocent with a "ban first, ask questions never" policy :! is still on the prowl.

So all I can say there is be very careful with your language. If it was up to me, things would be a little more relaxed and only blatant discussion of illegal streams would be acted upon (and with warnings before bans)...but, it is what it is. :conf

My specific goal is to clean up the racism, advert spamming, and overboard trolling that goes on here. :good
