Apparently he was landing more and more on Lorenzo as the rounds progressed (while barely getting touched himself, using unorthodox movement) and by the end had him dazed and hurt, scoring two knockdowns in the twelfth.

The knockdowns weren't a relevant factor, however, as even subtracting them you're left with scores of 117-112, 118-110, and 118-111.

(and hey - at least we've avoided the possible Aussie-free outcome from all this, which would have been a Sturm vs. Lorenzo rematch that nobody wanted..:!
