I scored it 6-6 (114-112), but there were a couple of pretty close rounds that I gave to Moreno for countering clean. So you're a bit wide, but not too much. I can see a clear win for Mares to a 5-7 for Moreno (wich would have been a 113-113 draw with the point deduction and KD). The 120-106 is completely ridiculous though, there were a couple of clear Moreno rounds and that judge should be shot on sight.

I labeled 3 rounds I gave to Mares close enough to be given to Moreno, so if I gave those 3 rounds to Moreno, I would have gotten the same score as you, 114-112, but hey, I gave them to Mares :deal

Congrats David! I actually only gave Moreno four rounds tops. I felt Mares imposed himself and controlled the fight well by keeping it the way he wanted it, and at his pace for the most part.
* Santa Cruz vs Zaleta - WOW, what a fight. I find Cruz amazing. What a treat he is for fight fans. Cant wait to see him in a super fight. And Zaleta. I applaud and salute Zaleta for the bravery, toughness, and will he showed in being outmatched and outgunned against such an elite fighting machine. This guy (zaleta) was being torn apart from round 1, and between the poker face he showed taking the ripping, to the never lay down attitude n always firing back with hard shots, to getting up from knockdowns, this man deserves every fight fans respect. What a complete warrior. I hope he is recieved with the celebration he deserves by the fans in his area. As for Cruz, the fights hes able to have in the future are a boxing fans dream * Garcia vs Barros - Garcia was Garcia in there.... put on a pretty good display, guy has some serious power when he lands his money shots, and stays poised at almost every minute. Cant wait to see these young talents start facing eachother. * Angulo vs Casarez - Hard to guage anything off of that, felt Angulo actually looked very sluggish and in poor form and then all of a sudden BOOM... he lands the veto stamp as roy would say. But I dont care, I was just happy that he got this.... you knew that this ment the world to him and when he broke down in ring it was just a very touching moment. Well done Angulo. Just very happy for him. I think this was good, hopefully he goes straight back in the gym and gets himself back into form (although Angulo has never really been a fast or coordinated fighter) But Ill touch on those things some other time, right now Im just happy for Angulo. :good * Vanes vs Lara - I think the draw was BS (imo) I felt Vanes was putting his mark on the fight throughout (and I dont like vanes at all) and was clearly the one getting the better of the action for the most part. * HBO vs Showtime - Outside of Roy Jones Jr, Showtime imo has completely seperated themselves from HBO in terms of professionalism and quality. Way to go Showtime. HBO needs to get rid of Harold Lederman. All in all, great night of fights..... some KO's, some controversy, some all action brawls, honestly it was just a great great night to be a boxing fan.
If someone feels like it, post your afterthoughts and Ill get it added into the final pages for the featured fight, and wrap it up with the video tomorrow. Great night for boxing :happy
