Provodnikov KO6 Torres (had been pitching a shutout through five, and then just when it looked like he was starting to gas and let Torres take over...Ka-BLOOEY!)

 

Yeah, although I have to say had it been the originally scheduled opponent rather than Amidu it would almost certainly have been loss #8 for Kim. (maybe even stoppage loss #3)

Ali Rahimov is a special talent, far above both of them.

 

Provodnikov pick is good. Kim pick might have been late.

 

Kim was also on time. :good

Don King just isn't getting his product out there much anymore. I don't see why he doesn't just pack it in, to be honest. If you're going to stay in the game until the bitter end, you may as well bend over backwards to keep yourself (and those in your stable) relevant...right?

 

Yep, that's what I would think. He isn't and yeah, he may as well retire and let other promoters get a shot at his stable of fighters. I mean, Spinks-Powell should at least be a FNF main event. I don't see why King couldn't get a date on there rather have just no TV outlet. Seems silly.

Seems Kim's sparring vid was an indication of his transformation from slugger to boxer.Congrats to you Pinoy.

 

Well, he mostly slugged for seven or eight rounds out of the ten. :yep He did box a few, though.

It's all about baby steps, I guess. They can't all be MAB.
