I've tried several times though at making high chance picks just to get ahead and it's cost me losses, I'm a gambler at heart, I could have a better record had I not tried to play the odds, so you'll see some differences in picks, only I can't make outright stupid picks and this month is pretty cut and dry.

Dubest one I made was Albert over Kirkland, but I really thought Albert was more durable than that.:-(

My reasoning was that if he pulled the upset, which would have meant lasting 4 rounds on a gassed Kirkland, everyone would have a loss and I'd have a new win.

Yeah Kirkland blew him away but you have to take chances like that if you want to win this thing. Good luck the rest of the way.:good

damnit i smell my 4th loss coming up..... i really dont know who i will pick in the quintana williams rematch.... but im leaning towards williams. I will rewatch their first fight and then another williiams fight, i really feel he had an off night and will come back and get that title but how wrong i was that first time... quintana schooled him pretty good.

I know I can't afford any more losses for a month. This needs to be perfect for me.

Williams-Quintana and PDL-Lopez are the only challenging picks this month. You've got to think Williams will adjust his gameplan to compensate for those straight lefts. Lopez should outbox Ponce, but I've no idea about his chin to be honest, thats the only thing that makes me think :huh

But damn this thing always throws up some suprises. **** like Byrd getting KTFO by a bum, and robberies, you can't legislate for that

In front of a huge crowd.... It was a typical Hatton fight with tough Lazcano... though Lazcano was beaten convincingly he still had his moments, hurting Hatton down the stretch, when the ref split the fighters.... and Hatton needing his shoe tied as well. Hatton cought a break there. In the end, Hatton won a comfortable decision.

Gamboa got off to a fast and arrogant start, but his game game opponent, who was completely outmatched physically, never stopped trying and knocked Gamboa down midway through the fight.... but Gamboa got up and went on to dominate.
Perro put in a workmanlike performance, almost reminded me of a poor mans margarito. Got through some tough moments to secure a stoppage
Kirkland showed who he was in an impressive performance in one round destruction of bad boy albert

In a suprising upset Witter gets dropped and beaten by decision by undefeated Bradley in defence of his title.

Ding was overwelmed by the brick house that is Arslan, with his high guard and better skills.... he wore Ding down and out in a significant cruiserweight matchup.

I thought Oscar looked so so in his fight against forbes..... he looked very underwelming against a smaller fighter who was there to be hit, forbes, fought a good fight and busted hoyas face up.... but in the end hoya was too good, and too big. Winning a UD.

In a fight that I personally found interesting, the two champions clashed, with a fight that of course is not without its controversy. JC survived a first round knockdown and at the end of the night the official rule is JC won a SD. It was JC's flurries and aggression vs Hopkins stronger punches, and defense.

In a suprise turn of events, Adamek makes Bell quit in a fight seemingly controlled the whole way by Adamek, but with Bell landing some good body shots. Adamek seems to have made quite a splash in the cruiserweight division.

In a totally one sided, brutal beating, Cotto scalped and dissected Gomez until the dr halts the brutality in the 5th round. Cotto looked smooth and fast but was in against someone who helped make him look that way.

Margarito repeats the performance of their last fight when he outworked, outmuscled, outhustled and outoughs cintron, cintron collapses under a brutal body shot and cant get to his feet in time.

In a back and forth fight that some favored for johnson and some favored for dawson, the old man proved he was still a relavent force in todays sport, meanwhile dawson kept the belt. Very good fight and what can i say about Johnson? Hes impossible not to like.

Tarver, on ESB at least, going in as the underdog, outboxes woods without much problem, setting him up for larger fights in the future.

In what appears to be a highly controversial decision with most, and in this case, maybe all from what ive seen, say spinks got clearly jobbed out of a victory by verno in an upset shocker. Not one person picked verno to win, and perhaps nobody was wrong.
