sup smith... last update, despite being behind by 1 fight (what i mean by that is you have 6 more wins then psych but 7 more losses, = -1 head to head if that makes sense.... but your longevity and having more knockouts, i let you keep your position... but this week he pulled ahead of you even in knockouts so i had to give him the spot. also... with top contenders like you guys, sometimes people dont realise that people 1-6 are only 1 fight apart from eachother. But in your case, even though you picked both fights right, once he passed you in ko's AND being +1 on you head to head.. had to put him up. i hope that makes sense in a way
To me It makes sense . . . . he has total of 89 fights . . . 67 wins. 67 wins in 89 fights is 75.28 winning percentage. I have 76 fights . . . 61 wins. 61 wins in 76 fights is 80.26 winning percentage. :deal
i was gonna put has a higher winning ratio (which isnt the only thing i go by obviously) but it should be called win percentage i guess... not ratio. anyways... i want to have a spot in the HOF for like the top 5 winning %'s of people who have over 15 fights or so... meh, something to think about.
Bud . . . you wanna to compute winning percentages without hassle? Here use this: http://blackdog.net/games/math/percent.html
Will start all over, except next seasons legacy page will have the champions name under the reigning champion part, and next years legacies will feature a All time top 10 part that will have the all time top 10 rankings... but as for directly effecting the actual rankings for 2009 season, will have no bearing, everyone starts back at 0 and its all up for grabs. :good
No problem bud . . . your effort in putting this up for all of us "real boxing fans" . . . is very much appreciated . . . and I'm supporting you all the way. :good
Thanks man i appreciate your help with announcing official results and such... believe it or not youve helped me out when i had to do that big catch up, and lewisbell as well. And with you keeping this on record that means we wont lose everything when the site crashes... thanks Smith... i know it makes it somewhat subjective, but i dont always go by the winning %'s, which is why i had you up last week despite being -1... if two guys are neck and neck like that with one fight differance... i sometimes take into account longevity, how many ko's they have, ect ect (otherwise if it went by win % someone whos 9-0 would be champ) but when he pulled ahead of you in both departments (+1 h2h and ko's) he earned the spot... and damn psych, your THIS freaking close to being the main #1 contender lol... youve been tearing it UP.
Like I said I can never be happier on where I stand now . . . I joined this league late. I don't just follow one fighter . . . I follow the whole damn sports and I love picking winners on fights. Check this: http://boxingpredictionleague.com/bplsite/leaderboard.html?COUNT=50
