    Im bringing back ESB's pick.... meaning who the majority of esb thinks will win an upcoming meaningful fight is what ESB's official pick is, and helps keep track of how well ESB as a whole (or at least our league) knows its stuff.... and sometimes i like to break it down to see just how bad someone is an underdog to win fights, and whos picking who, ect, ect...

    Im actually rooting for Malignaggi this weekend.... if he loses this then hes kinda done as a top fighter... and i hope he retires if he loses. If he wins he sets himself up for another good payday possibly.

    ****in close fights..... i feel for paulie but i think Diaz won by a round or so... I hope pualie can put some good wins together though, idk.... i kinda want him to retire and get into commentating, because hes still young and he does take a lot of punishment in his fights despite his defence, no need a fresh young kid like him whos not gonna be a champ should stick around a brutal sport like this. Id listen to him if he were a commentator or whatnot...

    anyways... Jacobs hung on to win the fight, kinda reminds me of a poor mans jermain taylor.... two or three more fights i think he will probably end up fighting pavlik, i dont see that going well for jacobs, just imo.

    Kinda interesting weekend. Diaz-Malignaggi was very close, I actually wanted Jacobs to win bigtime but expected a tough decision, so I picked an UD. I was a bit afraid of the Klassen fight but Guerrero came out on top. Glad we didn't pick the Brewer fight, lol! Well, I completely overlooked Robert Stieglitz, big upset over Balzsay! That's 3-1 (3KOs) for the weekend, not bad.

    I didnt get to see the whole Diaz/paulie fight unfortunately but after 5 rounds I had it 3 to 2 for Paulie. But I can definitely see how people would cry robbery. Diaz wasnt getting off like I suspected he wouldnt and thought because of Diaz's workrate it would get him the decision...I feel bad for Paulie because Im sure he most likely pulled out the W and didnt get his hand raised.

    Jacobs is ****in' garbage. His lack of fundamentals is pretty ****in' evident. Once he steps it up in class his ass if getting KO'd and BAD! He seriously ****in' sucks. He pulled out the win, but he just ****in' sucks. Im not sure how many times I can say that and feel satisfied because he does.

    Guerrero aint **** either. **** his broken hand man. He ****in' sucks. He's got SOME skill, but that guy just sucks. He wouldnt be able to hang with any of the top guys at 130...except possibly soto because of his decline and age. He's a bit of a poor sport too. All that hand swiping **** wasn't kool. Klassen was simply being a good sportsman and he's gotta get his period and ****...idk...**** Guerrero man. He sucks. Boring ass fight.

    This card was just disappointing.

    I might have to rewatch the fight, but i had Diaz winning by a hair.... i usually favor aggression and he was landing some head popping shots imo. Im gonna go back and score it though due to all the controversy....

    I agree about Jacobs... i like his attitude though, and who knows, hes only 22, maybe in a few years he will make some stark improvements. They need to keep him away from Pavlik though thats for sure

    I do not like Guerrero, never have..... cant wait to see him lose :-(

    Great Post Kirk.

    Guerrero is another HBO hype machine.

    I truely believe that Klassen was going to win. Thats why i picked him. And if Klassen had have decided to get going and take the fight on in the 10 round he would have won the fight.


    Now that ive watched it Guerrero should have been taken away points for holding. It was shocking.

    Oh well he will lose to anyone really decent.
