    And what a great fight! Erdei went to war with the bigger man and brawled it out!

    Sonsona-Hernandez is still on, but the title is on the line for Hernandez as Sonsona failed to make weight. Interesting! :thumbsup

    holy hell that was a pretty one sided loss for kessler..... i didnt have a firm rooting interest in this fight but kinda dissapointed to see kessler dominated in such a fashion. and ANOTHER freakin' loss for me..... wow.

    anyways hope everyone enjoyed the weekend ;) i will be doing the updates tomorrow. :good

    Once again Im becoming more and more of a Taylor fan. He's the only American that isnt fighting like a total *****. Ward and Dirrell are ****in' queens man. All that running and clinching BS is really killing this tourney.

    I seriously hope Taylor puts some ****in' dents into Ward when he tries the same BS, which I think he will since he beat Hopkins who uses the same tactics...but he wont win...he's just too far damaged at this point. But he'll look much better than Kessler did.

    Kessler just ran into a ****in' BS fight. The ref in that fight was a joke. It was Hatton/Tsyzu all over again, but worse. I think Ward could've won with just his skills, but these BS tactics and headbutting is what won him that fight...coupled with a ref who allowed him to get away with most of that ****.

    Kessler will bounce back once he knocks Froch's head CLEAN off his shoulders. :smoke:yep

    God i would love love LOVE if taylor beat ward...

    that being said i do think ward put on a decent display of boxing, well.... let me put it this way.

    Im not a fan of what he did, but at least i can see how someone who likes the finer art i suppose, of boxing... could tell me that that is good boxing, UNLIKE what haye and dirrell did. Again im not trying to be a dick to them or their fans or anything, its just my opinion..... ward at least to me showed some things in there that i would call good boxing.

    to me boxing at its best is when cotto is in his rythem, or when rafael marquez is clicking, or morales and mab are facing off and every movement is calculated, mostly intelligent, skillfull, but with a blood thirsty intent.

    but i cant deny that ward to me at least showed some decent skills, and and showed dirrell how boxing should be done if your going to be more of a sweet science type of boxer.

    I DEFINITELY saw that...but for me it was few and far between. He ****in' clinched after damn near EVERY combination or jab...

    He ****in' Berto'd his ass...but with his head in the mix

    ya your right.... actually, i made a thread saying that what ward did was some decent boxing and that dirrell should take note, but now that i think about it he did do a LOT of holding. I even yelled during the fight towards the end because of it..... that would be my biggest knock against him, and it is a big one.

    god i would love for taylor to beat him but i just dont see it, and i think ward might administer a similar beat down damnit! i might not even watch that fight because i dont want to see taylor get beat up again.

    I actually see that fight being somewhat competitive. He'll lose because of Ward's accuracy, but Taylor will get his in. Taylor's got one hell of a jab too. He's gonna outjab him and follow up. Ward will do what he always does and it will work. Ward's jab won't look as effective because he'll have the shorter reach by a significant margin. Wing in looping shots, land and then clinch will be the gameplan. Might even score a few headbutts...but I think a ref will make sure to put an end to that ****.

    It'll be another Ward decision that will get him off this pedastool he's on right now. Put him into perspective. Abraham's performance will look much better and people will say some **** like "Abraham will KO Ward" because of the fight. But Taylor's stamina won't hold up after a grueling and ongoing wrestling match and this will play into Ward's hands. He COULD get a TKO...but Ward has ZERO pop...none. It's ****ing pathetic. Honestly.

    When he fights Froch, he's finally going to run into a guy that'll play just as dirty. He'll outclass him, but he certainly won't get away with half the **** he did tonight.

    The fight im NOT looking forward to is Dirrell and Ward...the UGLIEST fight that can be made.

    Wicked weekend! Brawls, upsets, impressive and some less than impressive stuff. Boxing is alive and it's doing very well! :happy

    If u wanna get straight up wins jus go with the opposite of my pics (Thats a very safe bet) G's this wasnt a good weekend for me lol
