KO him? When was the last time Peter KOd someone worthy? He coulnd't KO a chinny Maskaev. Due to his brutal power most of you guys here on ESB claim he has, he should of knocked his ass out. See, your letting the Long, Williams, and W. Klitshcko fights get into your head. And the fact this dude is so out of shape and plunding :dead Chambers on points, winning about 9-3 or 8-4 on the score cards. Chamber has good acuracy and more speed than Sam and it will cause the out of shape Sam much troubles. Expect a Samuel Peter loss. :thumbsup I put 100 bucks on this bad boy.

Okay here's a better comparison... Pavlik vs. Hopkins :good Winky is the bigger man. And he's a great defensive wizard. Williams has power and pressures similar to Pavlik. It won't be as great of a schooling as B-Hop...but he'll win convincingly :hat
I wouldn't be surprised , but Hopkins defensive style is nowhere near similar to Winky's ... so its a still a bad comparison
For those of you who wanted to take a look at next month's calendar :hey 4th - Michael Katsidis vs. Jesus Chavez 4th - Edwin Valero vs. Antonio Pitalua 4th - Timothy Bradley vs. Kendall Holt 11th - Winky Wright vs. Paul Williams 11th - Cris Arreola vs. Jameel McCline 11th - Raul Garcia vs. Ronald Barrera 18th - Nonito Donaire vs. Raul Martinez 18th - Ulises Solis vs. Brian Viloria 18th - Adrian Diaconu vs. Silvio Branco 24th - Juan Manuel Lopez vs. Gerry Penalosa 24th - Celestino Caballero vs. Jeffrey Mathebula 25th - Jermain Taylor vs. Carl Froch 25th - Felix Sturm vs. Koji Soto 25th - Karoly Balzsay vs. Maselino Masoe I'm open for some suggestions...I tried finding some good Euro/Asain fights but couldn't see any that looked interesting. I'm looking for good 50-50 match-ups that are championship fights or eliminators. Anything else is pointless. I'll only look to add about 3 or 4 more fights...that way it's manageable for me to keep tabs with and for you guys to have enough time to do your research for each weekend. Thanks, VARG :smoke:fire:smoke
Pavlik fights and approaches his pressure much differently than Williams. Pavlik IMHO is much better than Williams. Pavlik doesn't give up his height. He doesn't give up his reach. And has that infamous double jab. Williams may have better movement...but that's it. I honestly don't think he has any power @ 160 to keep Winky in his shell and he constantly gives away his reach. Always looking to fight on the inside. This will probably look like Winky vs. Trinidad...maybe a bit more competitive and a bit closer...but something similar
Hey Varg . . . I'm not sure how Winky will show up for this fight after a very long layoff . . . but if Winky COMES IN 100% or even just 85 % . . . I see him winng this one. Winky is one of the very few fighters who can stay inside the pocket, make opponents miss punches and dish out effective counters. :deal
. . . you seems to be getting tired. But hey . . . great line up. I'll check fight schedules and see if I can nominate anything for possible inclusion. :good
Nice list, VARG! Maybe you could add: Andrade-Tsypko Povetkin-Estrada Gamboa-Rojas Spinks-Latimore Golovkin-Simms
