BIG chances of Collazo being robbed. They did it with Hatton afterall.

High. This is often a thing I consider in close fights that I think are going to the cards. If forces are moving behind the scenes, who for? Classic example was tonight, both fighting under Klaus's banner, Balzsay speaks German, and would appeal to the Hungarians in Germany. Inkin can't speak German and is not popular even in his native country. Not that it seemed a robbery at all, but its worth considering these things.

Certainly Berto is being built up as a big star. His style is judge friendly too. I don't see him losing on the cards, but who knows.

Berto is certainly more judge friendly than Collazo..... at certain times he went missing against Hatton which probably cost him.

Yup. I question Berto's chin and stamina. But I don't see Collazo testing that. He has "okay" power and fights in spurts. I think he'll give Berto too many time outs, which he always likes.

Would you have said Berto's stamina and chin are the equal of Hatton on that night?

Granted Hatton looked out of shape (IMO).......

If Collazo allows him to fight in spurts he loses..... but is certainly capable of upping the ante, and in my opinion, landing enough to but Berto to sleep.

Hatton's stamina was awful that night. I don't know if Berto can compete with that. He was bouncing around the ring like a rag doll towards the end. Collazo would have put his lights out if he was a top welterweight. It was certainly stamina more than chin that was his problem.

It's a different style. This is going to be more of a chess match. I don't think Berto is going to put himself in a position to be hit like Hatton did. He'll stand off and look for his combinations. I think he'll be so quick he won't give the counterpuncher a chance to get off. Hatton was always coming forward recklessly, poor thing to do against a southpaw counterpuncher.

    Agreed.

I just found it odd that afterwards people were questioning Hatton's chin. Having left himself wide open all night to Collazo and still be on his feet ought to have answered any questions on that score, but anyways.....
