Ya he didnt look so hot, I think that left hand that landed at 2:31 might have really scrambled Perez more then it might have seemed, which just started Perez's long slide of simply not being able to get a foothold in this fight.

To be honest, Vic looked beastly in this fight. I think he trained and fought with a 'losings not an option' mentality, while Perez, for the first time in his career, stayed at home and trained in columbia. I dont know... Im not sure that was the best thing for him to do. But who knows.

I think Perez was just a bit overwhelmed by Vics speed, strength, and power.

That being said, I am probably in the minority, but I do honestly feel that it was as bad as it was going to get for Perez, and that he would have started gaining momentum, I think Vic came out of the gate like a madman and would have gassed. Whether Perez has what it takes to win it, not sure, but I think he would have made it one hell of a fight down the stretch. (or he could have gotten stopped I suppose, if Vic didnt slow down )

But what a showing by Vic, imo.
