Oh man I'm so bummed. I wrote the danish channel that usually shows Pac's fights for free to ask if they weren't showing Pac/Mosley. They then responded that they didnt have any plans to show his fight as they were already planning on showing another boxing match (Sylvester/Geale):-(

 

At least Sylvester - Geale will be competitive :conf:yep

 

You can always watch Holyfield/Nielsen, I heard that was on PPV over in Denmark

You know, I have a feeling Mosley may be the wrong kinda guy for Pac. I think it'll be very competative and that Pacquiao will win a very close decision.

Anyway I was interested seeing how Pavlik would do at Super middleweight and how Vazquez jr looks when stepping it up.

 

That's ridiculous But freak shows must sell to casual fans, we had ****ing Haye vs Harrison on PPV.

 

I could watch Pac/Shane if I wanted but I won't. No way in hell I'll sit down for this one, I skipped Vazquez-Marquez IV and I'll skip this one too.

Lately I've been delving into the archives of heavyweight history and one name stuck out to me. He has one of the best heavyweight resumes during ones own era. He doesn't usually make someone's top 20 heavyweight list and he ceratinly never gets mentioned pound for pound. His name is Joe Jeannette.

Joe Jeanette (August 26th, 1879 – July 2nd, 1958) was born in New Jersey, USA. He is one of the victims of the so called "colour line". He fought in a time when a challenger was not always selected for their skills in their ring, but the colour of their skin. One of the saddest facets of Jeannette's exclusion from challenging for the belt was that the current champion of the day was of the same colour and still drew the line. Jeannette had this to say of his old friend:

Jeanette had a truly outstanding resume consisting of victories over Jack Johnson, Sam Langford, Harry Wills and Sam Mcvea. He was a man who fought everyone around and never shirked a challenge.
