There were taken several pictures of him wearing a gangster outfit equipped with machineguns. At his prime he was a ring monster. One of the biggest bangers to ever lace up the gloves. He was tall, skinny, with long arms, and broad shoulders which gave him tremendous power. Under the toutalidge of Emmanuel Steward he knocked out people left and right before he finally he entered his first super fight. September 16th, 1982. Hearns vs Leonard I are in my opinion one of the biggest fights boxing have ever seen. They were both young and primed, and concidering how far they both took their careers, this has to be one of the best fights ever. There were alot of pressure on Tommy going into the fight. He was the hero of Detroid. Some people were betting everything they had on a victory for the Hitman. The fight did not go as the experts had expected. Tommy was dancing around Leonard, using his jab to score points. By the 14th round Tommy was in line to win by points on two scorecards. But the previous 13 rounds had taken it's toll on him. In round 13 Leonard had severerly punish Tommy who sat down completely exhausted. Steward could see that his fighter was done, but didn't dare to stop the fight. They met each other in the ring for round 14, and Thomas was knocked out. Done. They both had fought like the champions they were and both deserved massive respect. This content is protected Hearns won a new title at a new weight class when he won over Wilfred Benitez by decision, and went on to execute Roberto Duran. This content is protected This put Tommy in line for a new super fight. And super fight is exactly what we got. 1985 was the year of "The War". It was a short but none stop action fight. Going into the fight, Tommy was expected to fight Hagler like he had fought Leonard. He was expected to box. But just before the fight, Hearns lets his trainer, Emmanuel Steward know that he wont be boxing Hagler. He'll be going for the knockout in round 1. And he did. This is one of the most insane fights I've ever seen. Round 1 is the best round of slugging that boxing has EVER seen. Both rocked. Hagler bleeding. Hearns' hands annihilated. It was just... A WAR. As the long rounds went on Hagler started to take charge. Hearns had spend everything he had in the first minutes of the fight, and had none left in round 3 and was knocked out. This content is protected Hearns would later have his long awaited rematch with Sugar Ray Leonard. He put Leonard down on the canvas twice, but Leonard escaped with a draw. Most people saw this decision as a robbery, even Leonard eventually agree'd that he had lost the fight. Hearns was a beast. An exceptional specimen that we will probably never see again. :-( Unbelievable.... Got about 10 constant trolls and worthless posters that drag ESB into the trash every other day, and its the guys like Robney, Bunny, and Tackle that get banned. The ones that actually shape the good parts of ESB. That being said GUYS! lol.... lesson learned here, just dont make any posts concerning fight stations, streams, ect. Even if its completely legit, just assume people will be dumb and not know what you are trying to say so will ban you anyways. There are so many people that ask for streams in those threads that Im sure the mods are quick to hit the ban button on anyone even flirting with the subject.... so my suggestion is to just stay away from the topic alltogether when in the roundbyround threads.
I regret to inform you guys that Kirk was just banned for talking about streams here. He just emailed me a few seconds ago. It just happened. Anyway, Luf has to update everything for a few weeks, from what I'm told. Good luck, Luf. We're counting on you, brah.
Nah, I think Freddy took Molina....may'be it wasn't him, but somebody did. I recall somebody wanting to make a bet, a couple of people took, then I said...or may'be thought, good luck with that. Betting on Cintron is a major risk, especially, against somebody like Carlos Molina.

Interesting :think Im starting the general updates right now so Im interested in seeing who took Molina.
Actually BE, you do remind me that I might as well make this announcement now. I really am going to be gone for about two and a half weeks or so, starting on the 14th. I am leaving for my annual training and will have no chance at all to do the updates for that time. I will still be able to check the thread and post from my phone from time to time (hopefully), but as far as actually making updates and all that it will be next to impossible. So, while weve gone much longer without updates before, Im just letting you guys know that I leave on the 14th and will be gone for 2 weeks or so. Worst part is I will miss Khan vs Judah, was really looking forward to that fight :-(
This is how it works - Champ makes picks - First member to challenge one of his picks is the new challenger - then, after that fight is decided, the next person to issue a challenge after the fight is final, is the next challenger.
