ANYONE CAN JOIN TEAM LEAGUE AT ANY TIME. MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOME AND WANTED

- 3 members can either decide who they want in their team themselves, or I can form the teams for them.

TEAM LEAGUE GIST
* Team Head to Head (this is the record that counts)
* Team Record
* Team standing/ranking

Sounds weird but I think it could be fun once its out there and I have a page for it and whatnot.

The teams will be Teams of 3 (for now)

So if anyone wants to make a team, just say youd like to make a team and hopefully people join you lol.

Then you have to pick a team name. And an image to go with your team.


Rankings and fights will work as follows....

Much like the tournament, matches will take place between two teams where two of the three members are picking different fighters then two of the three members of the team they are challenging.

Also, for featured fights, teams will automatically be matched against eachother regardless of challenges (as long as there are opposing teams, obviously)

Team records will be the combined records of the members within the team.

* Once a team is made, that is the team until one of the members posts that they quit the team, or if that member is inactive in the thread for more then 3 weeks. In which case the spot is open for anyone who wants in to that team.

 

* Remember, anyone can join team league at any time, if we get 3 more members we will make a 4th team, so on and so on.

* Team 2 and 3, remember to think of a name and get a logo, it can be as simple as a single picture or as well done as Team Europes.

* Also, this will not be a faced paced league, due to needing two opposing teams to require 2 out of 3 fights differing on, matches will probably occur only a few times in a month.

RULES
- First come, first serve. The first 8 posters who sign up will be the first 8.
- Picks in tournament must also be league pick
- The first fight on monthly fight list that matched opponents differ on, will be the selected fight. First based on order of appearence on list, nothing else.
- Can not go two consecutive weeks without posting a fight pick, or will be replaced.
- If three weeks go by without a differing pick between two matched opponents, then winner will be determined by who gets a KO on a selected matchup.

It really was one of the best rounds of the year without question.

Kirkland vs Angulo has become one of my fav fights of all time (I know that just doesnt sound right) but I cant help it.

Even though many dont (or didnt) like Kirkland, due to the sparring video that came out, I still was a fan, and I was a fan since I first saw him years ago, and with the prison term, ishida loss, leaving wolfe, it just seemed like his best was probably behind him already. I kinda thought he was going to have a Miranda type career... beating the C listers impressively but always falling short in his big fights.

With his defense and not so good chin early on in fights, and with Angulos power and chin, I really, really felt this was going to be the nail in kirklands coffin as far as being a main event type fighter, and when Angulo detonated that bomb on Kirklands chin, and Kirkland went down, I just got instantly sad.... and then Angulo starts beating up Kirkland and I 'knew' the ref was going to step in at any moment.... and again my stomach and heart sank :-(

Then, Kirkland weathers the storm, grits his teeth and starts firing back, starts to landing bombs of his own, and the rest is history.

The context surrounding the fight, and just how that fight played out, I cant deny it has become a fav of mine.

 

Ya I really enjoy it I gotta say.
