Im going with the GalaxyWarriors until you guys finalise the name, I can swap it out if you guys choose a different one :good

Great work on that logo Beastside.

    * Ok, Jordan is looking for two members to join him and form a team 4.

So anyone who wants to, feel free to join. Even if youre reading this and you are not part of the regular league, you can join anytime. Or if any of the regulars want to join forces with jordan or start your own team.

:bbb - 8 of us (may increase in the future, not sure how well it will be recieved so starting off with a low number) will square off in a single elimination tournament, that will bring the winner $50 (kirk $'s, lol) but more importantly, crown the first king, of the Leagues first tournament - :bbb

How will your picks hold up when they are open to challenge by anyone?
The Peoples Champion is our uncrowned gladiator, it is open for anyone, no matter how many fights you have, no matter what your record looks like, whether you come to the thread a few times a day or once a month, or you have never even posted in this thread before. Be the first to challenge the Champs picks and the title is up for grabs. :good

    Joe Frazier passes

    By Bill Hillmann

We have been informed that former heavyweight champion Joe Frazier has passed away from liver cancer at the age of 67. “Smokin’ Joe was only diagnosed last month with the disease and spent his last days in a hospice in Philadelphia. He is best known for defeating Muhammad Ali in 1971′s “Fight of the Century” at Madison Square Garden and compiled a career mark of 32-4-1 with 27 KOs. Fightnews staff sends sympathies to the Frazier family. More details to come.
