    Rounds 11 and 12 really good action rounds back and forth action! Both fighters want this! Really close rounds...probably Geles did enough to win those rounds, but boy oh boy it's going to be a close one. Not too many real swing rounds I think in neutral territory Hirales wins this as I think he did enough in the early rounds to win, but we'll see....wouldn't be suprised to see Geles win.

    Great fight, a bit of debate over who really won. Just from watching it and not scoring it officially I would have thought Hirales deserved the nod in the 116-112/115-113 range, but I guess Geles winning 115-113 isn't much of an outcry really. It was a close fight, but that's how it goes, the hometown fighter will get the swing rounds.

    Yea, Hirales had Geles badly hurt in the 6th round I believe it was, hurt him a couple of times in that round. Hirales never showed he was in danger of going down.

    :lol: Yea, I took Hirales by UD as well. I was wary of that pick because it was in Geles' hometown, but thought Hirales and his experience would overcome that...unfortunately, it didn't.

    Also, an update on that Mack-Griffin fight, the fight has been "tentatively" rerescheduled for March 4th....so hopefully, this fight will finally go down.

    Out of all the scouting I did for this fight, I didn't once think to look at if it was in either fighters hometown... But more than likely even if I knew it was in Geles' hometown I would've still picked Hirales.

    That was the weirdest and most drastic the rankings have ever changed.... because it is still so early in the year, a few fights make a world of difference, so guys are flying up and down the rankings based off this weekend :lol:

    I went 0-1, and jumped up to a gatekeeper.... lol.
