I'm liking this weekly tradition of Friday morning boxing courtesy of Thailand Channel 7. (especially now that I can sleep in on Fridays and don't have work at the crack of dawn...typically before I'd be getting up 90 minutes after these broadcasts end )

To be fair, when you view the criticisms of Nakoon in the contest of the minimumweight landscape in Thailand:

...only 9 active guys in the country in the division, half of whom are in the world title picture to some extent (two of them, Knockout & Moonsuree/Menayothin as undefeated world champs; Basapean a 2-time world title challenger; and Pradabsri having just lost for the first time last October, via MD against former champ Xiao Zhong Chong in a WBA International title fight) so the expectations are high. And he was in a nationally televised co-feature, so maybe a sharper performance was reasonable to ask - but I still feel he's being held up to a very high standard for somebody this inexperienced.

 

Yeah, his performance was already impressive and then bam, outta nowhere, stiff jab KO.

I actually didn't fully believe my eyes until after 5 or 6 replays in slow motion.

I kept thinking "wait, there must have been a body punch I didn't see but it must have been faster than the speed of light because his right hand never seems to move..."

It took me a second to realize it even could've been the jab that caused it.

 

...even if these RBR's are usually just me talking to myself, with maybe a post or two from Chuck & CST here and there.
