Happening tomorrow morning in Shenzhen. WBC Asian Boxing Council tripleheader with the lightweight, featherweight and bantamweight titles being contested. Ungsrivongs is going abroad to make the first defense of the WBC ABC 126lb title he claimed at home two months ago. Current local time in Shenzhen is five minutes until 7am, so I'd assume the WBC ABC tripleheader main event side of the bill will be underway in about 14 hours, or 9am EST on Tuesday morning for us. What I don't have a foggy clue as to is whether this will be viewable anywhere. @Boxing Prospect @boranbkk any insights you can offer??
Imagine RJJ and Tim Bradley commentating this **** and trying to pronounce the names? http://boxrec.com/en/event/765099 Good god...
Thai Channel 7 may have it. Think you can get a free legal stream online. Not sure if its country restricted...... Just try at the time...if not possibly channel 5 legal stream.
WHOA. So...against my better judgment, knowing full well that searching under his name w/ Siamese abugida rather than Roman alphabet characters would be likelier to yield results, I plugged "Kittithat" into the search field on Twitter. 1st result is, predictably, the link for this very thread, auto--populated by the BN24 Twitter account bot. Four tweets down from that one, however...
If they're planning to pick it up, it doesn't appear that Channel 7 has updated their programming guide to reflect it. https://www.ch7.com/schedule.html
They very may not have it, but they usual do. A live boxing bout like this very often isn't advertised or programmed and just cuts in at the time. Try channel 5 maybe.....I will try to find out later. It'll defiantly be on Fight Siam I'd imagine on UBC, but that is on Thai cable.. But to be honest when there is an international fights it's always on terrestrial...always.
What's frustrating is we don't even have a clue what time everything might be getting underway...and they probably won't be showing the entire triple-header on Thai stations, just Ungsrivongs presumably (the other "visitors" challenging the local Chinese fighters in the WBC ABC lightweight and bantamweight contests are Japanese & Filipino, respectively) - which means, I guess, we have to just stay glued to both Ch5 and Ch7 for basically the entire morning in the hopes of catching the narrow hour-long window they have impromptu boxing coverage.
https://www.228.com.cn/ticket-373637847.html this is the most info I've found lol says it starts at 19:00 local time and will be broadcast on CCTV5. CCTV5's schedule is legitimately never accurate as it pertains to boxing so I guess we'll have to wait and see lol
I'm not too hopeful but we'll see haha. Now if only I could find out if Prince Patel's bout in Slovakia will be televised later...hahahahaha
