That guy has to be the worst TUF winner in history from the worst season in terms of talent and watchability. If he keeps fighting like he did on the show, Zuffa will get rid of him as soon as possible.

Yeah way worse than Brookins! You seen Brookins level of comp' before and after?

Colton is just a lay and pray guy. Has NOTHING.

^This. Brookins has been in with legit competition his entire career and is a decent fighter.

Smith is a totally one dimensional wrestler and this is the field that he went through to win the show:

I havent watched any of Coltons fights except for the one against Ricci but looking on his record he either can be exciting and fight but played it safe in TUF and won or he has always been like that only he has fought the cans of cans

Smith only had three fights on the regional circuit against no names who were just as inexperienced as him before he was on TUF. The guys that he fought on the show were a massive step up in competition. I think that what we saw on the show and in the finale is what he's capable of doing against guys who are (sort of) competent fighters.

The fact that only two fighters besides the ones who were in the tournament finale were invited to fight in the UFC shows how bad the talent pool was in the season that Smith won. It also should be noted that Mike Ricci is a natural LW who was only fighting at 170 so that he could get on TUF.

On topic, Whittaker is fun to watch, has good power and has heaps of guts and grit, but I don't expect much out of him. Mind you, you never can tell. He seems to work hard, apparently has a lot of desire and is a natural scrapper. He might carve out a nice little career for himself fighting on undercards, especially given his aggressive style, KO power and local fame in a developing market. :conf

Colton smith is good but very chinny. He is a ko waiting to happen but otherwise he's a solid fighter. Also agree he's boring as **** lay and prey master.
