Will the be available in the U.S. on PPV? I know the networks aren't picking it up, but I thought someone had mentioned it will be an independent PPV.
I've read Internet PPV for around $20...no other details as of yet though. If you want to watch it on your TV, just run a cable from your computer to TV...that's what I'm doing.
The front page says no US TV coverage, which is true, no HBO, ESPN, etc... It doesn't say it won't be an Internet PPV. Hopefully CHEF will have an update soon on the Internet PPV option...I really want to see this fight.
Dan Rafael says Internet PPV: http://espn.go.com/sports/boxing/blog/_/name/rafael_dan/id/4941491/see-tv Looks like it will be $14.95 at Klitschko.com I just hope it's a good stream.
That's bullcrap. Klitschko with exception of Iggy knocked everyone else out. Say that for any other ATG??? And on top of that Chambers is best American heavy... that's th support he is getting from American tv.. Yeah I bet a lot of young athetes are going to choose boxing over NFL or NBA.. Andrey
It wont appeal to the casual fans though. Saying that, I'm sure they could create some hype around a Klitschko-Chambers fight. A lot of posters here give Eddie Chambers a real chance of winning
Unless you're a big Klitschko fan or big Chambers fan this will just be another one-sided beatdown and not worth the money, IMO.
How many beatdowns did Joe Louis have??? Eleven years of them.. Remember the Bum of the Month club???? So if champ is so dominant no one can even compete with him he shouldn't be televised? Andrey
Guys, i think HBO will end up picking this fight up within the next couple of weeks, we will start to see promos for this. It will be just like the last Vitali fight. They won't travel to Germany, but will provide the post fight commentary for the HBO showing. The will show the Pac/Clottey fight before the Wlad/Chambers delayed coverage.
I'm on the fence with this fight. It's probably not worth the $15.00, but I would hate to miss a Wlad fight, something I have not done since 01. ESPN classic should pick it up, I'm sure more people would rather watch that than nascar races from 10 years ago or old college football games.
