Klit fans should the Charr fight had been stopped?

He's German enough to be disqualified from winning any events.

Seriously though - what did you expect from Charrr? He's a fat bum who should never have been given the fight in the first place. People are using the 'he wasn't going to win anyway' line to justify the stoppage. No **** he wasn't going to win - he's a compete nobody in a fight against a guy he's incapable of beating. The stoppage only further adds to the farce.

 

I hope Vitali retires now - I dont think many people will be interested in his fights if all he has to do is win the first 4 rounds, then have an untreated cut stop the fight.

Some suggest Charr had no chance - Then WTF was this fight sanctioned.

I like Vitali but he is going to harm his legacy with wins like this, especially after the way he has acted over the last 10 years over his stoppage against Lewis.

Regarding the Lewis fight - It was a fair stoppage and if Lewis continuued fighting there should of been a rematch - But Lewis retired with his health intact - No fighter should ever be critisized for retiring - They lay their life and health on the line every time they step into the ring - and only they know what they have left - Lewis' decision to retire should not be questioned by anyone!

 

Charr holds WBC minor belt which makes him eligible for the title fight. Also, just because he could not beat Vitali does not make him a bum. Props to him for stepping up. The biggest loser is the one that never steps into the ring.

 

So he should not be dismissed for losing the first 4 rounds - Many fighters start slowly and then gain ground as the fight continues or he could have found a lucky punch - that is the nature of boxing
Who ever got the cut the decision should be the same - If it is not then the fight can never be judged as fair...

 

You're wasting your time trying to use logic with these guys. All they care about is seeing Vitali take his shirt off, punch someone in the face repeatedly and then coming in here and talking about how amazing it was.
