EXCELLENT thread. I agree 100%. This thread will be bumped when Haye beats the **** outta Klitschko and Wlad gets knocked out AGAIN. Although, he's been on the floor so many times and against complete BUMS, that it wouldn't be that surprising.
Well Monte Barrett was a tune-up fight for the Heavyweights. Haye himself as said he didn't want to take the long route into fighting for the title. Valuev was an easier route to a title, and a bargaining chip for this very Wlad fight. Audley was a money maker. Simple. Ruiz was mandatory. You can't complain about that. If he fought Chagaev instead of Wlad, he'd have been no doubt criticised for that fight too. Ultimately, nobody's saying that Haye has fought the best. And YES, Haye IS saying the same thing about the Klitschko Brothers. But can you honestly say to me, that Wlad has fought great people? The truth is, Wlad cherry-picks just as much as Haye. Except Wlad has been champions for over half a decade. Look at when Vitali fought Briggs. A total and complete mismatch. What you guys fail to realise is, is that whilst in Britain and America you can't hype up certain opponents, but in Germany, they were saying how Shannon Briggs is a 'great' Warrior and a former World Champion as if he's the real deal! this was on www.eventim.de And before you counter with the 'Fraudley' Nonsense; That was a grudge match, and a money maker for Haye. Also, regarding Klitschko and America. People pay money for entertainment. I wouldn't call any of the last ten Klitschko fights 'entertainment'. It's nothing to do with racism, jealousy, etc. If they held exciting fights, people would watch. Just like I was the Olympics and the World Cup - Even though England rarely do well. Just like how I'd stay up as a kid to watch Heavyweight Boxing - Even when no British fighter was fighting. And as for everyone who says 'Germany is the new capital of Boxing'. If that was the case, you'd see two non German/German based fighters in their prime travelling to Hamburg to fight. But you don't.
am i not mistaken but did wlad (once) and vitali (twice) try and sign to fight valuev???also ruiz dont make me laugh he hasnt been a top contender for the best part of a decade i mean he gets the wba mandatory shot did u not see him on the haye - valuev undercard lol he was awful u cudnt half tell he hadnt been in a fight for quite sometime...haye fans need to look in the mirrow sometimes when they say ****
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRZD0AbSIP8[/ame] I don't know, you tell me. I mean, Wlad uses his video about Haye to say he made the fight happen... Well here's a video Valuev made about Vitali. Translation: ''Vitaliy you tell me will there be a fight between us? If not then i have plenty of things to do. Don't make me go back and forth with your decision making. I dont need this" Then the reporter says "Nikolay is ready for the fight and wants it to happen already."

valuev spking there is just like haye talkin his rambling..its common knowledge valuev turned down fights with both klits..why wud they not fight him hes always been a slow as mofo..fs larry donald slapped him..anyway.i take nothing from that video..i actually rem reading an article in the sun (ino before u start) while haye was still in talks with the k bros the article was saying about how vitali and valuev where about to lock horns and how it was going to be a fight between the 2 largest hws ever...then i can assume u know wat happend next...
I never said he 'ducked' Chisora.. I said he SIGNED with Chisora instead. He signed for Chisora for an easy fight, bullshitted an injury TWICE - Co-incidently when the Haye fight re-materialised. Wanted to fight Chisora as a Tune-Up, Haye wasen't having it, so faked injury again.
instead??do u not wonder why people keep using wlads inactivity as a reason haye might win the fight...fact is as iceman posted if not for all the ****ing around wlad wud have fought twice as much up to now..do u not think haye dosnt know wat hes doing ???yet haye fans dismiss wlad wanting to stay busy with chisora...sorry man no chance with that one
