If Brewster can starch Wladimir, Haye can.

I'm not overly excited by this fight.

I can just see the first half dozen rds with not much action at all.

Very true Ippy but I think Wlad has improved since then! His use of distnace in the ring is second to none!

As an aside, I had a soft spot for Bewster! His brutalisation of Andrew Golota was memorable and his fight against Sergei Liakhovich was the second best heavyweight clash of the last 10 years or so!

Wladimir has improved since then, but it's not like his opposition has offered him much to worry about. It'll be interesting to see who is the aggressor in the Ring. If it's Haye, Wladimir is in trouble.

i think Haye will only come forward in short bursts and be happy to land single hooks and right hands... the Wlad that got nailed by Sanders etc is long gone and he knows his limitations and weaknesses now. I like Haye but he just doesnt have the good to trouble Wlad unless he can get inside and test Wlad's chin. He will get frustrated by the jab, get sloppy and then good night. Any openings will be filled by that hammer like right hand to the jaw.

On paper it seems Wald will win using his technical abilities, size and reach to keep Haye at bay, but Haye is much more athletic, aggressive and faster than the opponents both Klit bros have been fighting these past few years, so I think his speed, footwork and power can trouble them.

Especially Wald, given he is prone to being KD'd.

Haye believes he can win this - I don't believe for one second that he's campaigned for a fight vs the Klit bros simply for a payday, unlike the Haye haters on the general forum believe. Imagine if Haye did win it? The psychological impact on Vitlay would be interesting indeed :yep

I hope haye can get some good cracks in on Wlad so we can see a real HVY fight for once.

Some well thought out posts with valid arguments coming in from both sides , I hear Wlad was wrestled to the floor the other day by a sparring partner drafted in because His size was similar to Hayes lol I fancy Haye to get inside after about 5 and start making life uncomfortable for Wlad IF Hate can get past that ram rod jab of Wlads then his speed on the inside could make all the difference but we all know Wlad will be leaning like a mutha ****er all night so David has to get in do some damage then get the heck out of town , IF he can do that then he has a decent chance if stopping Wlad If it goes the distance in Germany then Davey boy is ****ed I reckon .
