All these idiots posting this fight wont come off. This fight will come off in Russia. Wlad will KO Povetkin.

"I think it's clear that Mayweather-Pacquiao is not going to happen, so I believe Klitschko-Povetkin is right now the biggest fight in boxing. There is a considerable amount of interest from fans all over the world and the tickets for this event are going to sell through the roof. Boente is looking out for his fighter. I'm going to work very hard with Boente to reach an agreement and I expect that in three days all of the issues will be resolved and a deal will be struck. I'm confident everything will be worked out and the fight will happen as planned," Hryunov

I hope this fight gets made. Boxing needs it, especially with Mayweather tarnishing another fight like he did with Marquez.

I don't care who wins Wlad/Povetkin; I just want to see a good night of boxing. I think Povetkin winning will be a long-shot, and Wlad does have a chance to KO him, but I'd still root for Povetkin. I really like him and Pulev. I just hope this fight gets made; it's definitely a huge fight considering that gigantic purse.

It's hilarious how Hrunov is constantly saying how hard he works at getting this done and the only thing you hear out of Bontes mouth is how they have all these conditions, otherwise the fight falls apart.

Positive thinking is not exactly Bontes strength is it.

They are afraid that the russians do some **** with the testing. I can understand this. But to claim that only the german agency makes the testing is also stuipid. Lets hope this fight gets made.

latest i've read is that according to Hrunov, the Russian agency will test Povetkin, while Wlad's testing will be handled by the Germans

The same could be said about Povetkin wanting the Russian agency, though.

If I were Wlad, though I'd say **** it and go ahead with the fight. He's going to be a very ****ing rich man after this fight.

I'm just wondering (I haven't been keeping up with this a lot) why is Wlad getting all the blame about the agency? Was it because he was the first to refuse the testing, or is it because Wlad is more likely to be on PEDs?

you can understand Wlad, i'd be worried that the Russians could tamper with the results if i were him, especially if he beats Povetkin to a bloody pulp

What of all those guys who came to the K2 shows in Germany, to fight against the K brothers -- after K2 won the purse bids. Aren't they also afraid K2 is manipulating test results, proceedings and tilting everything in their favor?

For once Wlad is not in control of proceedings and he quickly wets his pants. This is disgraceful. He should man up, rise to the challenge, goto Moscow and take care of business.

There is no reason to have sympathy for K2 here. This is a business, the highest bidder won so get your act together and fight instead of looking for a way out.

Damn Wlad sure wanted his usually agency to do the drug testing, even flat out refusing that the samples are tested by the German, Russian and a neutral agency. Something around here has a fishy odour, for sure.

I can imagine the Klittards would be just as sympathetic if Povetkin refused to fight on a K2 bill unless he got to choose who does his drug testing.
