http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/boxing/32471527 So wheres Dinodumbass now? Wasn't Wlad going to "avoid mentioning Furys name"???
all the frauds will fall... Haye was the first fraud now comes fury.. then, finally, we'll see a 40 year old Klitscho KO a prime Wilder.. then he will retire after all the frauds are exposed
No problem with this fight, to me rush into a wilder fight will take away from the hype that can build up a sold if not great showdown let say summer of 2016, Put wilder on HBO for at least for four more fights till he fights wlad. this might be a PPV showdown with million sells if HBO does it right, but not if they fight this year, you can bet that.
Wlad is 40 years old and Fury is a big, young, hungry lion. It all depends on how much Wlad has left in the tank.
He's actually 39 years old and a very fresh one at. You could make the argument that he has taken the least punishment on the body among all active boxers that has fought as long as he has. You guys are reading too much into last Saturday's performance. Unlike previous fights, the referee last Saturday was very strict on clinching and I believe that it affected Wlad's ability to create any kind of rhythm . I also believe that Jennings in and out game plan as well as his turning affected Wlads ability to establish the jab. Don't let Fury's performance against Chisora fool you. The discrepancy in skill between Wlad and Fury is that vast. Besides height I can't think of any other advantage which fury has over Wlad.
Wlad will be going for the KO early This will either by an early KO for Wlad or a UD for Fury in my opinion
Sure, Wlad is more 'skilled' than Fury, but Fury is bigger, younger, and hungrier. Wlad has also significantly slowed down in the past few years imo, which Fury could exploit. Fury is not the fastest HW in the world, but I reckon that even he could land on the current version of Wlad
Fury has the better jab of the 2 which will be key, plus wlads jab and grab won't work vs fury as for once he doesn't have the reach, fury will win inside 6
There is nothing wrong with current version of Wlad. He's still athletic, high skilled and hits harder than any current heavyweight. Fury is not a murderous puncher, so I don't see the need in banking on him connecting on Wald's chin. To tell you the truth I don't think Fury's chin can handle Wlads right hand.
When that right hand missile strikes on Fury glass chin then we will see how advantageous his reach advantage is.
