If Haye is indeed out as an opponent for Klitschko, Klitschko will end up fighting Arreola after all. You have to keep in mind that HBO has both of them under contract and won't mind a "last minute" switch of opponents. All other options like Povetkin and Dimitrenko have zero marketability for the amercian network. Look for Goossen to fill the vacant Arreola slot for the April 11th HBO show with Toney, who has reportedly been keeping in shape for the past weeks.

I hope Klitchko forgets about Arreolla and make Toney vs. Wlad instead.

Bring it on Wlad!! Toney for the title!! :happy

Areola is not commited to fight McCline. Goossen Tudor issued recently a press release that McCline-Areola is postponed until further notice. Do you need anymore prove?

This is indeed a very likely scenario. Wlad-Areola and Toney-McCline are good matchups.

As for Haye, maybe he should think about going back to cruiserweight to fight Adamek, Cunningham, Bell....

    Klitschko should fight Rogan!!!

Would certainly be exciting, and, unlike Arreola, at least Rogan would turn up in shape!!!

People will say mismatch, or that Rogan is a bum, but come on, Skelton did okay against Chagaev in a WBA shot last year and Rogan just destroyed him.

He'd certainly have a better chance than Tony Thompson or Hasim Rahman did.

Arreola has a puncher's chance, but i see Wlad taking his time but stepping up the gas around the 5th and taking him out a few rounds later, similar to Brock.

As for McCline vs Toney, McCline has a good shot to win it. He's a lot taller than Toney (taller than anyone Toney fought) and James should've lost to Oquendo last year.

Toney is on the verge of becoming totally irrevelent. He won't beat another contender. Did everyone forget his dismal performance against Sam Peter? He isn't improving.
Arreola punches like no one Wlad has fought lately. Cris punches harder than Cory Sanders, Lamon Brewster and is at least equal to Sam Peter in power, but throws straighter punches. Wlad will knock Arreola around a bit, but when Cris nails Wlad it'll be all over.

Unlike Oquendo, Mcline doesn’t run away entire fight and that alone would make fight much more interesting than Oquendo fight.

McCline height could perhaps create some problems for Toney in early rounds but in the later rounds Toney would figure him out and outpoint faded McCline with comfortable decision.

Arreolla vs. Wladimir could be interesting couple of rounds, but I don’t think Arreolla have any real change for victory.

Those would be very interesting match-ups. I think that further announcements will be made after the Vitali v Gomez fight. I think that at this stage Klitschkos are focused on the gomez fight.

Well Jameel McCline would indeed be a good opponent for Toney. A 'name' fighter that he can beat, but still some kind of test to show us what Toney has left. If he can't beat McCline decisively (by stoppege or clear decision) it's time for James to hang em up. Remember McCline is far past his best too.

Plus these two were supposed to fight each other already back in 2004, so there's some unfinished business there. It would also shut up all these Toney detractors here who claim that James wouldn't fight a 'big' HW.

Toney - McCline definitely makes sense. Both are veterans who need a good performance. The winner should get an eliminator or an immediate title sot against Valuev.
