I mean all these fighters are top 10 ranked heavyweights and I'm sure that all of them would like to have a shot at Klitchkos titles ! Who is the ducker here or what is the problem ? :think
This. Pay them a reasonable amount without bull**** rematch claauses and I'm sure most fighters would jump at the chance. Otherwise they'll keep fighting other no-marks for the same money they'd get from fighting a Klit.
Because the line separating "exciting prospect" from "exposed hypejob" is one Klitchko trashing wide.
Problem is, the guys in that top ten don't fight eachother. If they did, we'd have contenders that had been established as legit.
indeed these guys from top 10 don't fight eachother but Charr or Wach are better options/interesting fights than Helenius, Boystov , Povetkin or Fury ?
Yeah, the champ should bend over backwards to appease the challenger who is getting a shot at HIS titles. Brittards... My god.
Povetkin has pulled out twice from fighting Wlad, and it will likely come to him getting stripped of his paper title"regular WBA" or fighting Wlad next up. Since there is deadline in that Org for the super and regular champ to fight. Pulev has 16 fights, and just got ranked that highly off his last win vs. Dimitrenko, and is now in a final IBF title eliminator to become that Org's mandatory. Helenius basically lost to Chisora and since that fight almost a year ago, has been rehabbing his shoulder, and been inactive. Boytsov although faster then Wach, has the same padded recorded with lack of size, so why wouldn't you complain about him being a title challenger if you have about Wach. Fury has said he is in no rush to face the Klitschko's and is patiently waiting to become a mandatory , so his earning potential increases dramatically :deal Yup this. There have been some match ups between contenders, not all being in Rings top 10, but not even remotely close to enough. The most recent being: Haye/Chisora Hellenious/Chisora Adamek/Arreola Adamek/Chambers Chambers/Peter Chambers/Dimitrenko Pulev/Dimitrenko Povetkin/Chagaev
As people already mentioned how about some of these "contenders" actually fight eachother to get a mandetory and then you do not have to worry about "slave contracts" or rematch clauses? Also both Klitschkos have given career high paydays to fighters that actually have a name, christ even Danny Williams got a huge payday after he knocked out Mike Tyson. But if you don't have a name and you are not a mandetory why should they get paid loads?
This is why the ring ratings are not worth pissing on. Arreola is in the top ten from doing absolutely nothing. And above Tyson fury. Embarrassing.
