3 years in the top10 & he still hasnt fought a single top contender, guys like Boystov are what is wrong with the division.

Whats even worse is that the WBO have him ranked #1 :-(

The Klitschko brothers, Wlad in particular has done a good job in clearing out the major competition. It's left them with the problem that at present, that the fighters listed hardly set the pulse racing. Most are also too green or have not been sufficiently tested to warrant a move toward a world title shot. The fact is, Klitschkos aside, there are some decent matches to made at heavyweight.

Take Fury for example. It is thoroughly pointless trying to engineer a Wlad fight. He hasn't even proven he is the best in the UK yet. If he re-matched Chisora, got rid of Price and Haye then by all means. As it is he's been fighting absolute ****ing nobodies since he beat Chisora.

I'd rather the top 10 fight each other to give us a viable set of challengers. Aside from Wlad - Arreola and Vitali - Haye, I'm non plussed by the prospective title fights.

The problem is that Povetkin, Pulev and Helenius (and Valuev) are or were managed by Sauerland. They broadcast on a different TV station than the K brothers in Germany and both have contracts with their respective TV station.

That makes fights hard to materialize. Both TV stations insist that the fight happens on their network because of the exclusive contracts. So the fights never happen.

When was the last time you saw a K brother fight a boxer promoted by Sauerland? Sauerland is ****-blocking this. Look how they shield Povtekin :deal

Well Povetkin will be mandated to face Wlad eventually or he'll lose his title.

Wach is a **** choice though. I'm not too fussed who Vitali faces, he's 40+ and will never get higher than number 2, let him do what he wants. Wlad is building his legacy though so he needs to be beating ranked fighters.

Can't they do a joint broadcast, eg Shotime-HBO?

Pulev is one of the few top ten men who have actually both beaten a guy ranked in the top ten and done it recently, though, interestingly.

Vitali have no resume. None. None.
The ONLY two guys he fought that would have been competitive in 'any era'
is Fat old shot semi retired Lennox and Chris Byrd.
Sanders was a god damn golfer who spend his days golfing and his nights eating various assortments of fattie foods.
Chris Arreloa have so many rolls of fat bouncing up and down when he box you can SINK your entire ARM in his stomach.
He fought a shot version of Samuel Peter who Wladimir already destroyed.

The TWO times Vitali stepped up in class, he got embarrassed and lost badly.

Vitali was also caught for steroid usage in the 90's, something he just decided to hide under the rug.
AND NOW he is ducking CW David Haye.

This guy do not deserve to be in the Hall of Fame.

They were discussing that for Wlad - Valuev but I guess the talks fell apart because the TV stations couldn't agree on who was to broadcast the first fight and who was to broadcast a second fight.

People are too quick at blaming the K brothers over this. It's not really their fault a number of contenders are in a slave contract with Sauerland and a rival TV station.

Remember how Sauerland had Povetkin ***** out of fighting Wlad twice, probably in order to not allow him to fight on another station -- after K2 won the purse bids.

Based on what? They've hardly fought each other. Outside of the Klits this is one of the most untested top tens in history.
