Always makes me laugh when people say that.
Vitali can punch going forward, backward, sideways, and does not need to clinch to keep ideal distance.
He also punches in every imagineble angle and goes to the body.
His defense is arguebly also superior.

People keep thinking in boxes of orthodox = skill, unorthox = unskilled.
Vitali fights in a style that is perfect for his attributes, if he would fight like Wlad it would greatly diminish his effectiveness.

Wow. Fritz trained every European Champion ever so to speak  Crazy for his age.

Who do you rate as a better trainer in Europe, Wegner or Sturm?

He has been with 6 or so. Thats pretty good. Would probably been more if not for the many world titles now a day.

Hard to say. Sdunek is a good offensive coach, while Wegner is a good defensive one.

I feel the same way. I had never make any connection between angry britts and true happiness before I became a member of ESB. Life make weird turns.

You nailed it. And I agree.

Still I'd say that Sdunek trains 3 time world Champion Vitali Klitschko pisses all over Wegner's trainer career. Who was Wegner's most succesful fighter? Arthur Abraham? :huh

    Ottke.

Sdunek resume is better though: Michalzewski, Wlad, Vitali,Sturm,Gomez, Erdei..

    Better than:

    Otkke
    Beyer
    Abraham
    Huck
    etc..

    I prefer Wlad than Vitali.

I like Vitali, but I really want him to retire right now.

    Why?

Because I want someone to be undisputed champion, and that can't happen until Vitali or Wlad retires.

Wlad being much younger won't retire before Vitali. So Vitali needs to retire so boxing can have one undisputed king.

It's a simple as that for me.

It would've been different had not Vitali's four year layoff happened, but it happened, and relinquished the chance to be top dog.

    Indeed it is.

I see Wegner never actually trained a heavyweight right?

Robert Helenius must be his first.

I think it is his first, but not sure. Not doing the best job on it though. Helenius should get with Steward or someone who can teach a similiar style.
