Don't know if this has already been done.Max takes on Vlad, while Buddy fights Vitaly, then they swap partners. Is it a split?Or does one team sweep the other?I am kinda leaning towards the Baer boys for what would probably be considered an upset.
Frankly, I'd pick both Klits to beat both Baers... Doesn't matter much to me on how you mix and match. The Klitschko's in my humble opinion, posses a fairly well rounded package of size, strength, and skill, whereas the Baer boys only have some of each. Max and Buddy might have a puncher's chance against a pre-Steward Wladimir, but not so much against the improved rendition.
I think I agree though I've been told I underrate Maxie's ability a bit. Although I would change the word "might" to "definitely" if we're talking pre-Steward Wladdy. Especially with Max's giant right.
Fair enough, but the problem I have with placing any bets on a big right handed puncher, is that this was not so much of a problem for Wlad as someone who could throw a good fast left hook. All three of Wlad's stoppages were the result of lefts.. Not rights, and frankly that makes all the difference in the world.
I am not sure,as I am not near the boxing historian as some of the posters are,but I think it was a left hook, that Buddy Baer sent Joe Louis out of the ring with.
