why is wlad so afraid to let his right hand go against a guy who is so small and less poweful than him - thats what pisses me off about him
that's why he'll get knocked out by david haye. two big punchers, who lands big first wins, and wladimir scared to throw his big punch while haye's not, so we know what's gonna happen there.
strenght is a physical advantage. and as far as skill, wlad's skill comes from his physical advantage, i'e he uses his long reach jab to keep eddie at bay.. simple as that.
Round 7 A subtle adjustment from Wlad: he begins to hook behind Chambers' right glove to get him to part his guard a bit. Klitschko varying his assault now, and putting his full weight behind his moneypunch right hands. He's mixing in jabs under Chambers' guard, and hooks the likes of which Ray Austin still has nightmares of to the head. Chambers is covering up but getting knocked into the ropes frequently. Chambers pops a right hand at Wlad's jaw beneath Wlad's extended jab hand. It lands but not hard. Chambers can not find any offensive "joy", as the commentator keeps echoing. Wlad shutting his man out and shutting his down.
I like this ref. He doesn't make too big of a deal of Wlad probing with this jab.... and he doesn't make too big of a deal with Chambers being more rough on the inside. Very fair.
Eddie livens up slightly in a scrappy round 6, but it's clutching at straws. Wlad still dominant behind that jab. Eddie tries a lunging left-to-the-head-left-to-the-body combo repeatedly, but the main problem he has is that, in closing the distance, he telegraphs it way in advance. Size difference too large and Wlad's jab too good to get in quickly. 60-54 at the end of 6
This is no Pacquiao he's fighting. If I were Chambers' trainer, I'd stop the fight by round 10 if it continues in the same trend. Klitschko is a supreme power puncher. No fighter should face such punishment.
